You may remember that a little while ago I asked you to vote for your favourite car from film and TV.

Well, today I can announce the result. Your top five favourite cars (including my favourite, the A-Team van) were:

1. KITT (Knightrider)

2. James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5

3. Doc Brown’s DeLorean (Back to the Future)

4. The A-Team van

5. The Batmobile

The usual suspects perhaps, but Derek and Rodney Trotter’s three-wheeler only missed out on the number five position by 0.7%!

There’s no denying that the cars that made it into the top five are the stuff of dreams – who wouldn’t want to drive around Lake Como in Bond’s Aston Martin, or smite wrongdoers with the help of the Batmobile. And what kid hasn’t imagined time travelling in a modified DeLorean like Marty McFly, and whizzing around the streets of the future on a hoverboard?

Well, personally, I always wanted to join B.A. Baracus, Hannibal, Face and Murdoch, travelling around the US and fighting crime. Maybe they’ll consider me for the next movie?
